
Don't just talk about it. Take action! Youth and adults can take part in meaningful service-learning projects, both at the conference and around the Twin Cities area. Anyone can participate, and youth are especially encouraged to take part in these hands-on projects.
Most off-site choices will involve working outdoors. April temperatures in Minneapolis are usually 36-57 degrees Fahrenheit with an average temperature of 56 degrees Fahrenheit (13 degrees Celsius). Dress appropriately for outdoor weather and work.
Last year's projects included You Are What You Eat, One Million Bones, Care Kits for Newborns, Deserving Design on a Dime Refugee Project, MLK Historic Site Project, tree planting, and many others.
