NYLC offers a limited number of scholarships based on financial need. The number of scholarships offered is contingent upon limited, variable funding, and scholarships cannot be offered to all qualified applicants. Scholarship awards will cover part of the registration fees only. A limited number of scholarships will be awarded per school/organization.
Scholarship awards will cover partial registration fee only. Travel and lodging costs are the responsibility of the attendee. If a scholarship applicant chooses to register before the early bird deadline and he/she receives a scholarship, the scholarship award amount will be mailed via check.
Due to the limited number of scholarships, applicants are encouraged to seek additional sources of support. Local service groups, civic organizations, booster clubs, business councils, adopt-a-school partners, foundations, and community funds are often willing to help attendees with conference costs.
